How Requity helps buyers and sellers find agent matches

Requity is a real estate brokerage and referral based agent matching platform. Instead of handing you a directory, Requity starts by understanding you: your communication style, your decision making, and what your move requires. Here is the client agent matching process from start to finish.

The whole flow is designed around one idea: the quality of an agent relationship depends on fit as much as on credentials, so fit should be measured before the introduction happens rather than discovered afterward.

Step 1: Complete an assessment

You begin with a short relationship style assessment. It asks how you prefer to communicate, how you make decisions, and how you handle stressful moments during a transaction. This is the real estate personality assessment at the core of Requity, and it takes only a few minutes.

Step 2: Share goals and transaction needs

You tell Requity whether you are buying, selling, or doing both at the same time, along with your market and contact details. Transaction needs shape the match: a first time buyer, a seller coordinating two closings, and an investor all need different kinds of support, and the assessment adapts based on what you are trying to do.

Step 3: Review of communication style

A real Requity team member reviews your answers, communication style, and home goals. Agents on Requity complete their own assessment and receive an agent archetype describing their working and communication style, which means the review considers insight from both sides of the relationship, not just a client questionnaire. Typical review time is 24 to 48 hours.

Step 4: Match with an agent in your market

Requity pairs you with an agent in the market that matters for your move: buyers are matched with an agent in the market where they want to buy, and sellers are matched with an agent in the market where they want to sell. If you are buying and selling at the same time, Requity can review each side separately and match you with an agent in the buy market and an agent in the sell market, or with one agent when the same agent is appropriate for both sides. The review considers compatibility, transaction needs, and location, and you are notified when your match is ready.

What happens after matching

After a match, you receive an introduction to your agent, including context on their communication style. From there you work together the way you would with any agent: viewings, comps, offers, negotiation, and closing. If circumstances change, matches can be revisited; a match is a strong, considered introduction, not a lock in.

Requity encourages you to treat the introduction like any other agent interview: ask about their recent sales, their process, and how they would approach your specific goals. The difference is that the communication fit question, which most people never think to test, has already been considered before the two of you ever speak.

Because Requity operates as a real estate brokerage and referral based matching platform, participating agents or brokers sign a referral fee agreement before being connected with a Requity client, and when a referred transaction closes, Requity receives the applicable referral fee under that agreement. This never changes what the client pays to start: the client assessment is free.

How it works for agents

Agents create an account, join the Requity network under the current participation terms, and complete the agent assessment to build a profile of their working and communication style. When a potential client emerges in the agent's market, Requity reviews the fit between the client profile and the agent profile. Before the connection is made, the agent or broker signs the applicable referral fee agreement; Requity then connects the client with the agent, and when a referred transaction closes, Requity receives the referral fee according to that agreement.

Why Requity works this way

Sales history tells you an agent can close transactions. It does not tell you what working with them feels like: how they explain decisions, how they respond under pressure, or whether their pace matches yours. Those relationship qualities are the strongest driver of whether clients look back on a transaction positively, which is why Requity measures them explicitly with a relationship style assessment on both sides and puts a human reviewer in the loop. It is a slower way to build a match, and a more considered one.
